Parks W. Cook XC-3603060

Born in Union County December 20, 1921. Died in India April 23, 1944. Was brought back to the states in 1948 and was buried in Monroe Cemetery. The Rev. Woodrow Rose and Rev. Earl Cook had charge of the service with full military honor.

Parks finished high school at Benton Heights and took a business course in Greensboro. He then went to Washington and was employed by the F.B.I. It was there that he was called into the service.

He was the son of David Arthur Cook and Lucy H. Cook. He attended North Monroe Baptist Church. He was sent to Spartingburg, South Carolina and then went to Battle Creek, Mich. for training.
