Pvt. Lacy W. Eury was killed July 7, 1944 in Normandy France. Pvt Eury was born April 15, 1920. He was inducted into service in 1942 at Camp Croft South Carolina and was stationed at Camp Blanding Florida and Camp Atterbury Indiana before going overseas. He was a member of Company B 105 Medical Battalion. Surviving are his wife, who was Miss Louise Sams, his father, Authur J. Eury, 8 sisters and 2 brothers.
