PVT JOHN B GRIFFIN

Pvt. John B. Griffin 31 was killed in action in Belgium on January 6, 1945. Pvt Griffin entered service on October 29, 1943. He was an employee of Cannon Mills in Kannapolis. He was a native of Union County.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Gladys Mills, of Kannapolis; four sons, Carson, Carl, Donald Ray and Ervin Lee Griffin of the home; a daughter Margie Griffin of the home, and his mother, Mrs fannie Smith of Kannapolis.
