James C. Huey 34211141

 

 

 

 Cpl. James C. Huey 34211141 was born April 24, 1914, entered the army on Feb. 14, 1942. He received his basic training at Camp Shelby, Miss. He was attached to the 43 Division, Co. L. 169th Infantry. From Camp Shelby he was sent overseas and was reported killed in action August 21, 1943, somewhere in the southwest Pacific. He was the fifth man from Union County killed in action. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.O.B. Huey.
