Monroe Jr. Keziah 34116626

S/Sgt. Monroe Jr. Keziah was born May 6th 1919 in Anson County North Carolina.

He was employed in Cannon Towel Mill when inducted in the army July 17, 1941. He received his basic training at Fort Bragg and was transferred to many camps before going over Sea in April 12, 1944 where he went into active duty in the European Area. He was wounded and received the Purple Heart. He was in Co. B. 705th T. D. Bn. He was killed in Belgium Jan 10th, 1945 and was buried in Luxenburg Military Cemetery with military honors. His parents are Joel M. Keziah and Gladys M. Keziah and six brothers which are as follows: Samuel Hargrove, Joseph Gilmer, William David, Bryce Pierceson, Irwin Brinkley & Dewey Clifton Keziah and one sister Thelma Margret Keziah.
