Notes

The 301st was composed largely of former General Motors automobile dealers, mechanics and salesmen.  The 301st was the first Ordnance Regiment in the history of the U. S. Military.  It was formed from members of the National Automobile Dealers Association.  This photo comes from a General Motors publication (undated).
