Description 

Guion-Plyler House, characteristic of turn-of-the-century design.  Built by John Adams and later deeded to Joseph D. Adams.  Around 1908 Dr. Lemuel E. Guion purchased the house.  In 1918 the house was purchased by Jonas Plyler, operator of the Waxhaw Ford dealership.
